Pasta with tomato sauce

- We put in a large sauce pan 2lts of water and then we add the pasta. We let them bowl for about 7 minutes, to get the al dente effect.
- While the pasta is getting boiled, we prepare our sauce. In another sauce pan we heat extra virgin olive oil, adding a bit of garlic and cook it for about 8 minutes.
- In the same sauce pan we add the fresh tomatoes and a spoonful of brown sugar, stirring often.
- When the sauce gets a rich dark red colour, we lower the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes. Then we season with a bit of salt and pepper.
- Now, the cooked pasta is added to the sauce pan.
- After the ingredients have mixed well together, we place them to a dish and present them while hot.
